Frogland - France 2017

We only post GREAT routes that we have ridden.

.

If you choose to use any of these routes you do so entirely at your own risk. Break the law, get lost, fall off etc is your responsibility/fault, not ours, so don't come crying, litigiously or otherwise, to us.

.

We've tried various ways to share the SatNav files of our routes but the easiest and most effective is to just drop us a line via our contact page and we'll email them to you. Just let us know what format you need (GPS eXchange format .gpx, Garmin GPS database files .gdb or text directions).

2017 was looking like a disaster of a year for ED Rider's trips. Ill health, exams, life etc etc all got in the way and by mid-summer nothing had been planned. Fortunately Mrs. Tigger allowed Dr. Tigger to get drunk with her distant French relatives at a birthday party and by the next day a bike trip was on the cards.

A blast through north and central France whilst slowing down for hairpin fun, kicks and giggles in the Alps before soaking up some mediterranean sun.

This was an awesome plan but the trip got delayed a month and none of us considered that September in the high Alps might well not give the clear sunbaked roads we'd been banking on.

We got so wet and cold we were honestly scared about our ability to get out of the mountains at one point! Despite this the roads were staggering and perfect if you've only got second and third gear!!!

The same gearing was, alas, needed for Rob's first laps of Monaco with some parts prohibited because of works, are just not open to motorbikes and the awefull traffic.
